So it is Friday night in Toronto and you are at home reading our blog? Geez, get out and live a little! Do what some of the worldwide travellers at our humble Canadian hostel are doing. Head over to Lee’s Palace for the Canadian Air Guitar finals! Even if you are not schooled enough in the sport of air guitar, I am assuming that watching the ten finalists rock out will be somewhere in between mildly entertaining and totally awesome.
For more information about Air Guitar Canada, check out their website. Oh, and for sure check out their rules page. Simply to ensure that your interest is sufficiently peaked, I will list the first three here:
1. The instrument of an Air Guitar player must be invisible, i.e. air.
2. An Air Guitarist may play an electric guitar or an acoustic one – or both.
3. Each competitor must participate in a qualifying round (excluding the champion of the previous year, who has direct access to the final) to compete for a place in the final.
So after you have checked out all of the links and decided to rush over to Lee’s Palace in time for the final round, make sure to keep an eye out for some of our Toronto visitors staying at our hostel.
