The Wright Stuff Film Festival
This film festival celebrates films by movie Director/Co-writer Edgar Wright. You may know of Wright’s movies- he directed and co-wrote widely popular Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. The Wright Stuff Festival happening at Bloor Cinema will be featuring his films as well as movies that he likes and a question and answer period with Wright. Toronto Salsa Practice
In the mood for some salsa? Come to this fun salsa night practice- no experience necessary! You’ll have a lesson to begin and will learn different salsa steps and a mini-routine that you can use in all your salsa dances! Indie Pop Music Live
Don’t miss this awesome indie art-pop group from Chicago called Anathallo as they bring their songs to Toronto. Created out of the pieces of bands of yesteryear, this collective boasts a rotating cast of musicians and their performance will showcase the beauty that comes from their artistic collage. Joined by Ribbons of Song(Michigan) and Entire Cities, it’s a night music lovers are going to remember! The concert starts at 7PM at the Drake Hotel’s Underground; Tickets are $12 at the door.
