On every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night 7-10pm until April 29th is the punk rock tragedy: Hamlette. Put on by StudioBLR, at 15 Lower Sherboune Street, this is a modern day version of Shakespear’s play of the same name.
Throughout the run of Hamlette, many local Toronto bands are slated to come play at the palace and “catch the conscience of the king!” .
But it’s Saturday nights after the play, starting at 10:30pm, at the after parties where the fun continues on. You’ll see many more bands come out to join the party…including The Justin Byrd Sanctuary, Letterbox Black, Light’em up TigerMystic, Blunt Fiction, Rueben Degroot, Love and Terror Cult, Rosey Jones Band, The Death of Me, The Kettle Black, Boys of Reason, Titanic, Snot Rohmit, and others!!
