There is a fabulous new tool offered by Google called Google City Tours. Basically, you just type in an address and Google will respond with a suggested walking tour complete with a full map, points of interest, and a couple of alternatives. Other features include date selection, ability to add or remove points of interest, and importing existing maps.
Of course we typed in 126 Chestnut Street, the most plum pick of all the hostels in Toronto, and here is Google’s suggested walking tour that starts right at backpackers on Dundas‘ front door.

Click on the image above to enlarge it. Of course, you can also view the map by typing in 126 Chestnut Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada at http://citytours.googlelabs.com/search

Love this post. I need to learn how to make lentils like those ones from Peace Garden. I ate so many lentil dishes just like that in India and I’m craving it now big time.
